"Don’t light a lamp and put it under a bowl" Matthew Ch 5 v 15
About me
My testimony
I became a Christian, at the age of 15, back in the late 70’s through the youth work of a local Baptist church in Letchworth Herfordshire. My school friends invited me to some youth events, and through the tireless efforts of two great youth leaders I found salvation in my late teens. I had been to summer camp in Cornwall in my early teens where I learnt how Jesus Christ had died on a cross so that I could be forgiven and have a personal relationship with a loving God. It took me almost two years to process this and realise that just the knowledge of God’s grace and the gift of salvation was not sufficient. I had to trust in this plan of salvation and actually commit my whole life over to God’s care.
Church
Sundays is a great day in the week for me . I attend Grace Community church in Kempston Bedford . Here I lead one of the week day Home groups. I’m also on the rota for the vision team ( the IT team responsible for the projection during the services and the live streaming services )
